The light of a star
The rhythm of a heartbeat The song of a life The harmony of our voices As they rise through the evening sky In a small forest clearing A little girl is laughing Twirling and dancing The animals find hypnotizing A morning dawn The river flows again As it breaks free from the ice Holding it down The leaves dance in the wind Twirling, twisting Children are laughing As they are playing The little girl is still there after dark Now laying down Tired from her dancing and laughing She drifts off to sleep The moon starts rising The wolves start howling Singing toward the sky Before they to fall into a dream filled sleep Every life has a song It goes on forever Through the day and into the night And as one dies Another begins It's an endless cycle through time |
